Interesting question. While I have lived in Minnesota most of my life, grew up in west st paul and my dad is an Albert Viall, his mothers name was not Rose.

The Albert Viall I was wondering about lived in Hastings, Minn. and was married to a lady whose first name was Irene. The time line would be late 1940s-1960s.
If your not related, what would be the chances of you having the same name, from the same area?

Your grandfather, was my Uncle. I think that would make us second cousins, once removed.
